29.09.2010 Gold awards scooped at latest awards event
We are thrilled to learn that two of our products have been awarded GOLD awards by Practical PreSchool Magazine, at their 2010 Awards Ceremony.
Fairy Tales, a charming set of six little ‘girlie’ two and three-piece jigsaws, designed for children of 18 months upwards, received a gold award in the Toys and Games 0-3 years category. Of the jigsaw, the testers said, “Fairy Tales encouraged learning by allowing children to relate the princesses to other stories they had heard. The pieces were easy for small hands to manipulate and slot together.”
Round and Round, a fun board game for 3 to 6 years received a Gold Award in the Toys and Games 3-5 years category. Of the game, the testers commented, “A bright and colourful game with simple rules to follow that kept children at the table, held their interest, and provided hours of amusement. The game is an excellent learning opportunity, linking well to the EYFS (National Curriculum Early Years Foundation Stage) areas. It covered imaginative play, problem solving, numeracy, communication, language and literacy.”
