16.03.2012 Orchard Toys pledges to support their local children's charity
East Anglian Children’s Hospices (EACH) is celebrating the 21st anniversary of its Quidenham Hospice and we, plus another 20 companies, have pledged to help fundraise for them. We plan to hold several fundraising events throughout the year and we will be kicking off by joining the charity and hundreds, possibly thousands, of other supporters at their Ride for Life at Santon Downham in Thetford Forest on Sunday 20th May.

Two of our ladies in production (Elaine and Sam - pictured above) are doing their bit for EACH by dieting for a couple of months.
They started their weight loss challenge on 1st February and now, nearly half way through, they are really chuffed to report that they are heading in the right direction!
Elaine, who said that she was feeling really healthy, but was really missing cheese from her diet, has lost 14lbs so far. Sam, who says that it is very hard, with withdrawal symptoms, especially for her favourite crisps, has lost 15lbs.
Together, they have so far raised £400. So well done Elaine and Sam we look forward to hearing, and seeing, the final figures!
