This is a wonderfully innovative game that is fun as well as educational, with lots of thought and detail in the design. Like all the Orchard Toys products, the game pieces are sturdy and durable to withstand plenty of child's play, and are brilliantly illustrated in vibrant colours to instantly capture young childrens' attention.

As the name suggests the game is based around a wonderfully illustrated jigged sports track (complete with cheering spectators) that players must race their dinosaurs around to win the race and pick up a medal! A fun little podium is included to make for a great awards ceremony, and the medals are wonderfully shiny! The game is one of my personal favourites and besides being great fun to play, has many developmental benefits including promotion of basic concepts such as counting and matching, as well as encouraging plenty of social interaction, communication and turn-taking.
