4 out of 5 stars Brilliant burps!

By John

Very good 'bingo' style game. Each player can have one of four different menu boards. Take it in turns to choose a tile, if it's yours, put on one of your 6 spaces. If it's someone else's, put it back (they have to watch where it goes!). If it's a food with a yellow background (an unhealthy one) then you get to post it into the greedy gorilla and hear the excellent 'burp' sound. Good fun - the only wee problem with it is that there is no bottom to the gorilla box, so if the child picks it up or knocks it over, then all the tiles are left behind. On the other hand, it makes it easy to rescue any tiles that SHOULDN'T have been posted because someone got a bit too eager to hear the burp!

5 out of 5 stars Helps children make right choices

By Susan Mann

We were given this game as a birthday present and love it. Both my children aged 5 and 2 are able to play it easily on their own or with the adults joining in. It is a lot of fun selecting the food and then when a junk food is selected the child gets to put it in the gorilla who burps.

One of the best things about this game is that they are realising what are good choices of food and what are bad choices of food.

I would highly recommend this game, easy to play, sturdy well made boards & game pieces, helps children understand the difference between healthy and junk food and it a lot of fun.

By Vicky Stabler

This is a fantastic game that not only helps children recognise healthy food, it's fun when feeding the greedy gorilla as he makes such rude sounds!!!

5 out of 5 stars Fabulous

By emily

My 3 year old loves this, the burping noises wins him over. This was the first game he started playing, all thanks to burps. My 5 year old loves it too. They fight over putting it in his mouth. I catch them looking for the yellow shadow on the floor! Great fun.

4 out of 5 stars Lots of fun!

By Jo Middleton

A game that makes a burping noise - what more do I need to say really? My daughter didn't even need to have anyone play this with her sometimes - she was happy just to post the food into the gorilla's mouth to hear him burp :-)

5 out of 5 stars A Favourite!!

By Lesley Adams

I am a Speech-Language Pathologist and I just want to say how much I LOVE this toy. I LOVE toys that are multi-purpose! I utilize it in a myriad of ways! Most simply, I use it as a reinforcer (what child doesn't love evoking a "burp"?). It can also be used as a language activity, by naming or identifying the food items, or by categorizing the food items, and recently I used it as a counting activity, where a price was affixed to each item, and the child needed to count out the number of coins necessary for the gorilla to purchase it!
