My children have enjoyed shopping list for years. I bought it as a gift for my eldest son, now aged 12, when he was 4. His younger siblings have loved it too and so we decided to combine the fun of a well-established game with learning french vocabulary. It was a recipe for success and the children quickly mastered the French words for all the shopping items.
It's a great way of introducing a new language to children and lots of fun to see who can fill up their trolley first!

This is a well loved game by my two children and a great way to get them to start learning french vocabulary at all ages.(My two started when they were around 3/4 years old.)
They love the fun of filling the trolley and enjoy guessing the correct name and pronunciation of the item.
Even better if you play this game before travelling/on holiday to France,as it helps them identify food and drink when shopping at the local market,etc.We still play the game now and they are 5 and 7 years old.
