This colourful, farmyard-themed game can be played both as a single player pairing activity or a memory game. Young players can start by turning all the farm cards picture side up and trying to match the head and tail parts. This deceptively simple matching activity can be altered for more advanced play by turning the cards picture side down and playing as a matching and memory game. Children can also develop their maths skills by counting their pairs at the end of the game.

Featuring twelve friendly farm characters and objects to match, Farmyard Heads & Tails encourages observational and memory skills whilst introducing very young children to the concept of turn-taking! Young children will love the bold and colourful illustrations, and the large, chunky cards are ideal for little hands.

In late 2016, Farmyard Heads and Tails won a Bronze award in the prestigious Mother & Baby awards in the 'Best Toddler Toy Under 24 Months' category.

We think that this game is amazing. It gets two enthusiastic thumbs up! We've had the game for just over a month and my daughter has wanted to play it nearly every day. We even have to hide it away so she doesn't ask to play constantly! She loves to play with us, but also enjoys playing with it by herself. My daughter is 19 months old, and the game is perfect for her. She learnt how to pair up all the cards on her third try, and really enjoys playing with us. I've noticed that they game is helping her with her memory, social and hand eye coordination. I'd recommend this game for any child, as they can still enjoy the game as they get older.

This game helps with all the skills it claims to. The cards are a good quality and made to last. the children staying at Coombe Mill all enjoyed matching pairs from age 1 to 4 and beyond that it is a perfect memory game for many more years.

My son who is obsessed with farms, animals and tractors simply adores this game. It's a fab matching game which I can see us having many years of enjoyment out of.

    A brilliant first game

Reviewed by Mummy of Two + 1 on 21 September 2015

The cards are big and chunky and, even better, wipe clean! This is perfect for a game aimed at toddlers who, more often than not, have something sticky on their hands!

My daughter has really enjoyed playing this game both on her own and with us. It is incredibly easy to set up and understand and she picked up what she had to do straight away.

I liked the size of the cards and the fact that all of the animals looked different and like they should. This made it much easier for my daughter to remember where each part was so she did not get frustrated whilst playing.

It has been great watching my daughter taking turns with her brother and also improving her memory skills whilst playing. This game is the perfect first game for any toddler and, as with all of the Orchard Toys games we have, we would highly recommend it.
