Our 4 year old daughter wanted this game as soon as she saw the box and we told her the name. She spent 6 months waiting for us to buy it and she wasn’t disappointed!
Teaches what food is healthy and what isn’t which they have also just been learning about in reception. It follows the pick up a card and match to your board concept so there’s always creative cheating going on when putting the tiles back.
The burp noise when feeding greedy gorilla is as entertaining for us adults as it is for the children.
Overall another good game for our collection.
Great family game

We really enjoyed playing Greedy Gorilla. The concept of the game is easy and I think probably children younger than 4 would be able to play this game. My kids loved that the Gorilla burped when you fed him the unhealthy cards. A game that can make us a laugh is a fantastic game in our eyes.

I am a Speech-Language Pathologist and I just want to say how much I LOVE this toy. I LOVE toys that are multi-purpose! I utilize it in a myriad of ways! Most simply, I use it as a reinforcer (what child doesn't love evoking a "burp"?). It can also be used as a language activity, by naming or identifying the food items, or by categorising the food items, and recently I used it as a counting activity, where a price was affixed to each item, and the child needed to count out the number of coins necessary for the gorilla to purchase it!
Helps children made the right choices

We were given this game as a birthday present and love it. Both my children aged 5 and 2 are able to play it easily on their own or with the adults joining in. It is a lot of fun selecting the food and then when a junk food is selected the child gets to put it in the gorilla who burps.
One of the best things about this game is that they are realising what are good choices of food and what are bad choices of food.
I would highly recommend this game, easy to play, sturdy well made boards & game pieces, helps children understand the difference between healthy and junk food and it a lot of fun.

Very good 'bingo' style game. Each player can have one of four different menu boards. Take it in turns to choose a tile, if it's yours, put on one of your 6 spaces. If it's someone else's, put it back (they have to watch where it goes!). If it's a food with a yellow background (an unhealthy one) then you get to post it into the greedy gorilla and hear the excellent 'burp' sound.View All Reviews
Good fun - the only wee problem with it is that there is no bottom to the gorilla box, so if the child picks it up or knocks it over, then all the tiles are left behind. On the other hand, it makes it easy to rescue any tiles that SHOULDN'T have been posted because someone got a bit too eager to hear the burp!
