Learn about counting and shapes with this classic Orchard Toys game, based on the popular nursery rhyme. Be the first to move your cute 3D spider up the drainpipe before it starts to rain!
There are two ways to play - one with a number dice and one with a shape dice - as you play either the simple counting game on one side of the board or the shape matching game on the other. On every turn, spin the spinner to see if the sun will shine or whether the rain will wash you back down the drain!
As you play, why not encourage your children to sing the 'Insey Winsey Spider' nursery rhyme as they go? This game has quick and simple gameplay, perfect to play before bed and to introduce the concept of turn taking to younger children!

Add ReviewMy toddler who is nearly 2 loves this game. Hubby and I started a tradition of "games night" once a week where we switch off the TV, computer and mobiles.
We've been looking for board games our son can play with us before he goes to bed on a Friday night. We're also pregnant with #2 so love the fact that when she's 2 and he's 4 we'll all be able to play together.
We've had this game for a few months and my son loves it. He's nearly 3 year old and Insey Winsey Spider is his favourite rhyme so we thought this would be a fun game for him. I like the fact that it is double sided; shapes on one side and climbing by counting numbers on the other side of the drainpipe = 2 games for the price of 1. A nice, simple game and would definitely recommend as a 'first' board game.
We've had Incey Wincey Spider since our daughter was 2 and a half. It's great for learning shapes and numbers and also she sings the nursery rhyme when we land on the rain. She loves it - we've bought it for quite a few presents for friends too.
As a family we have soooo many Orchard Toy games but this one was disappointing. Once a child knows their shapes and colours I dont think it works. Also by throwing a couple of dices a child could win through sheer luck than actually playing the game. Definitely not a favourite althought the quality of the materials used to make the game are second to none!
This fast became a family favourite and 3 years on we still play it now. A great game for learning colours, shapes and counting. we've bought it for lots of other people too!!
A great start to counting games for tots, with a shapes option for even younger children.
A great game that captures children because it relates so well to the rhyme. Great for counting and shape recognition, my children have played it time and time again.
