Spin the octopus spinner to see how many fish you can catch, but do take care...there's a shark out there! Spin the spinner, count the number of bubbles and collect the matching cards on your fish board. But watch out! If you turn over a shark card, it will eat all of your fish and you'll have to start again! The player with the most fish at the end of the game is the winner!

The excitement of this game is in the anticipation of turning over cards...will you turn over a shark card or collect more fish?! Children will also love the fun 3D octopus spinner. Player boards and cards feature a number of friendly sea creatures, including clown fish, starfish, crabs and puffer fish, and can be used to show children the different creatures that live underwater.

    30 bubble cards
    4 jar boards
    1 3D octopus spinner
    1 instruction leaflet

Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts. Choking hazard.

    Catch and Count Review

Reviewed by Mary Proctor on 17 September 2014

As weÕve come to expect from Orchard Toys, the play pieces are made of thick board, with brightly coloured graphics. This game engages children from the very start. We talked about the octopus and the various sea creatures on the Jar play boards before weÕd even started to play the Catch and Count Game. Colours are a big thing here at the moment too, lots to talk about, lots for children to observe.

WeÕve had lots of fun playing the Catch and Count Game. I think the Catch and Count Game is a bargain, we love the theme and I think this will be a favourite for some time to come.

    Review of Catch and Count

Reviewed by Elizabeth Gunner on 17 September 2014

In this game there is a great little octopus that holds the spinner and it can remain constructed and still fit back in the box Ð very clever. The idea is that each person has a jar and has to collect as many fish as possible. You do this by spinning the spinner and finding a card with the corresponding number of bubbles on. But watch outÉif you find one of the sharks, he scares all your fish away! My son thought that was great and particularly funny as I kept finding the sharks!

The game supports counting, number recognition and turn taking. Another high quality, educational game from Orchard Toys. A great addition to my therapy bag!
