Race and count your 3D character from shop to shop, using plastic money to buy lots of different items! The winner is the first person to collect 6 items on their board. This fun board game offers older Orchard Toys fans longer and more varied gameplay than some of our traditional matching games.

Children will learn about handling money and giving change as well as developing their imagination as they take on the roles of shop keeper and banker, playing with pretend money. The game also encourages good manners, as players say 'please' and 'thank you' to the shopkeeper every time they buy an item. Children can also add their own tills and purses to the game for extra play value!

1 jigged game board
48 item cards
4 shopping bag boards
4 characters
4 character stands

My two children aged 5 and 4 love this game, they have nearly all of the Orchard Toys games and puzzles but this is by far their favourite!

Super Game

Reviewed by Jeanne on 20 May 2014

I bought a selection of Orchard Toys during a trip to London. My daughters, of 3 and 6, just love Pop to the Shops which is a very good game to learn about handling money. It is very lively and everybody has their own shop. It is really special!

Thank you to Orchard Toys for making learning fun! My daughter thinks this game is great! She has just begun school and it is really helping her understanding of maths, especially handling money. The simple format and colourful board really appeal.

Fun, enjoyable, educational game

Reviewed by Julia Bakewell on 20 May 2014

We have a few Orchard Toys games already and, as predicted, our newest edition didn't disappoint. My 6 year daughter was initially not keen on a game which taught the value of money and basic maths, but after one go she is hooked! She loves asking the various shopkeepers for items and is quickly learning to hand over the correct amount of money-and that sometimes you can't always spend everything at once!! A really well thought out game. I have already recommended this to several of my friends for their children.

Learning through play

Reviewed by Nicki Cawood on 20 May 2014

I am a big fan of children learning through play, as I think it's the best way to get new ideas and concepts across (and keep their interest!). My 4.5yr old is currently being introduced to money in his numeracy at school, and this game backs this up brilliantly, both now with identifying coins and adding up and later when it comes to learning about giving change etc.

This is a great fun game and perfect if your little ones enjoyed the "Shopping List" game. A firm favourite in our house!
